Undeclared General students receive a wide range of support that includes a dedicated Academic Advisor, supportive Peer Mentors, and an array of campus wide resources. Some of these supports are detailed below:
- TCNJ Advising Resources: Check out this page to learn more about advising policies and procedures. You’ll also be able to view a list of helpful resources available to all students!
- IDS 98 Advising Course: All new Undeclared General students complete an advising course to help them get acclimated to college life, campus resources, and student success strategies. Within this course, there is an emphasis on major/career exploration with elements of self reflection, interests/skills assessments, and change of major procedures.
- Undeclared General Peer Mentors: Our Mentors play a supportive role during students’ first semester at TCNJ. They provide insight, guidance, and tips on how to transition to successfully transition to college life. Mentors help to facilitate the IDS 98 class sessions, alongside the Undeclared General Advisor/Associate Director for the Center for Student Success.
